Spring Wedding Attire Ideas

Having set the date for your Spring wedding it’s time to start shopping for your wedding gown! Most wedding dress styles are suited for a Spring wedding. Strapless dresses are often too cold for Winter whilst large heavy skirted bridal wear is too warm in the full heat of the Summer. You might opt to have some sort of cover up depending on how early in the season you are getting wed to keep off the chill factor so look for a dress that is adaptable. As colour begins to appear during the season of Spring after the gloomy winter months you may choose to incorporate some colour into your bridal gown. This could be in the form of a sash, bow or some intricate embroidery.

You can never be too sure what the wonderful British weather has in store during any season, particularly Spring. You could have glorious warm sunshine or a windy wet day (it is actually considered lucky to have some rain on your special day!). Think about keeping your bridesmaids happy and warm by providing them with wraps or shrugs.

Pastel colours are often a popular colour theme for a Spring wedding although can be a tricky colour to wear depending on skin and hair tone. It may be an idea to let your bridesmaids choose the cut of their dress as a compromise or why not go for slightly different shades of the colour to make it more complimentary for each of your special ladies.

Don’t forget some large umbrellas just in case of any sudden outbursts of showers. A bit of wet weather won’t spoil your day, your love and happiness for each other will glisten and shine amongst the rain drops, but you don’t want it to mess your hair up!
