Wedding dress worries

May 7th, 2012

Whether you’re nervous about being the centre of attention for the day, worried about where to seat squabbling family members or concerned that you’re not going to find your dream wedding dress, as a bride to be planning your wedding it is perfectly normal for you to fret over certain elements of your special day.

If going shopping for wedding dresses fills you with fear then don’t fret. Here are some pointers to assist you in your search to finding you own gown.

  • Before you go trying on wedding dresses consider what your personal style is. Are you glam girlie or a true tomboy? Your gown should be a reflection on your individual personality.
  • Do your research beforehand. Browse through bridal wear magazines and scour websites for images of wedding dresses that you like the look of. It is likely you will see similarities between the pictures. Take these shopping with you to give the sales assistants an idea of what you like the look of.
  • Try to keep an open mind. Very often a bride will go for the complete opposite of a dress she first envisaged herself walking down the aisle in. Sales assistants have seen hundreds of brides and know what dresses look good on certain body shapes.
  • If there is a part of your body that you like then look for a gown that accentuates it. A sweetheart gown will flatter your chest, whilst a shorter gown will show off your legs.
  • Don’t feel you have to be traditional. Use your imagination and set your creative side free if you fancy something that little bit different.
  • Your wedding theme may decipher your choice of wedding dress. If you’re getting wed in a castle and having a horse and carriage then you need a princess style gown.
  • Ensure you look and feel the part before you set off trying on wedding dresses. Pop on some decent undies and wear some make up to make you feel good prior to your appointment.
  • Don’t beleive the hype that you have to get butterflies in your tummy or burst into tears for it to be the right dress. Not every bride gets that feeling of ‘knowing’ when it is the one. If you have narrowed it down to a couple of dresses that you like then simply go back later on to retry the gowns to make your final decision with the help of a close friend or on your own after sleeping on it.
  • Finally don’t lose sleep over the budget you have allocated for your bridal wear. At the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet all our discount wedding dresses are affordable to all with prices from £150-£400.

Creating a Wedding Checklist

May 4th, 2012

As wonderful as what planning a wedding is there will be times when it will be stressful and give you a headache or two. To help take the strain off you one of the first things you should do is to create a wedding checklist. By making a spreadsheet you will be able to keep account of all the costings too and as you tick off each of your to do items you have no fear of panicking a few days before the wedding as you realise you forgot to sort out the canapes, flowers or heaven forbid go shopping for wedding dresses!

First things first, if you haven’t already done so, book your wedding and reception and then decide on the budget for your wedding. Give yourselves a realistic figure of how much you want to spend on your special day, working out together what elements of the wedding are more important than others and assign a certain amount of the budget to each area. In doing so this will help you stick to the amount you want to be spending.

We have categorised things that need to be done rather than opt for certain things to be carried out at set times as we all like to do things at our own paces and some of you may be getting married in two years whereas as others may be tying the knot in two months or two weeks. Workouts for Wedding Dresses

May 3rd, 2012

Looking beautiful is a top priority for every bride on her special day. When shopping for wedding dresses you need to look for a gown that flatters your figure. Upon finding your dream wedding dress it is likely that you’re going to be working on making sure you look your very best. Many brides will work on ensuring they consume a healthy diet and stick to an exercise regime to ensure their body is in tip top condition and their skin is radiantly glowing.

More often than not there is one particular area of your body that is your biggest bug bear. The main problem areas for us women are our tummies, bottom, arms and thighs. Unless your of a supermodel stature you might like to read on to discover how to make the most of these assets on your special day with some simple daily toning exercises. So let’s get on it to create the perfect silhouette in your wedding dress and make you look and feel extra amazing on your wedding day. Everyone’s jaws will drop as you glide down the aisle to meet your groom.

For that perfect tum and tiny waist some sit ups and stomach crunches are the perfect solution. Don’t forget to exercise your lower abdominal muscles too. Try doing some leg only V sits by sitting on the floor with your legs elevated and alternating between bending and straightening your knees. To push those tummy muscles that bit further then invest in a gym ball to use whilst you train to achieve a better posture.

If you’re after a cheeky pert bottom then you need to get working those glutes! A defined derriere can be yours simply by running, stepping or doing some skipping. Get running up and down those stairs, or if you can take two at a time, squeezing your cheeks as you do. Regular squats, lunges and side leg lifts are all  great for toning this area.

You can wear strapless wedding dresses by shifting those bingo wings. Work on your shoulders, triceps and biceps to get arms that look beautiful without a wobble. Tricep dips can work wonders as can press ups which tone the chest area too. Using some tins out of your kitchen cupboards as weights whilst you watch the TV is a great and easy way to help get those arms you’ve always longed for.

Hips and things can be one of the trickiest areas to shift weight from, however by doing some lunges and squats you’ll soon begin to see the difference in your thunder thighs. These also tone up your bottom too – bonus! To work on your hips and the inner thighs then go back to your youth and dig out your roller blades.

For cheap wedding dresses that flatter you from head to toe then come visit the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet. With a huge selection of discounted desinger wedding gowns there is something for every bride no matter her shape or size.
