For some newly engaged couples they can’t wait until their big day to get on the top hat and tails and the wedding dress and let the photographer get snap happy. However there are some bride and grooms to be who quiver at the thought of being photographed and can’t think of anything worse than the pressure of being in front of a camera lens.

Congratulations on deciding to have your wedding abroad. In doing so you have opened up an array of wedding dress styles and bridal wear options to choose from! Having your special day in another country gives you the option of being as creative as you desire. You may simply want to go for a traditional and classic looking wedding gown, or alternatively you may opt to have an elegant sleek evening dress or a flirty tea length wedding dress. The choice is limitless and entirely yours to design around the location of your wedding. However you may first like to think about the following:
The Setting
Do consider the venue where your ceremony is going to be conducted. If you are getting wed in the daylight consider styles that have stunning detail, such as ruffles, embroidery and lace. Alternatively if you’re getting married under a moonlit sky then crystals and diamante on a wedding gown will glisten and shimmer under the stars and candle light. Many overseas weddings take place outdoors so do find out what your aisle is made from. If it’s uneven cobblestones and steps or a sandy beach then then last thing you want is to be meeting your groom at the end the altar by tumbling down it in a huge wedding dress! Some brides will opt for a dress with a shorter train to prevent it being ruined.
Fabric
A wedding gown can be made from a wide range of different fabrics. When you are getting married abroad it’s essential to think about the type of fabric your gown is made from, especially if you get hot and bothered easily. Not a good look on your big day or to look back on on the wedding photographs. If you really want the big princess dress then you could choose to wear this for the ceremony then slip into something cooler and lighter for the remainder of the day. Of course some fabrics will crinkle and crease more than others, some venues will offer a pressing service for you. You can steam your dress in the hotel bathroom. Close the bathroom door, and run hot water until the room fills up with steam. Hang your dress in the bathroom, ensuring it doesn’t get wet, and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes.
Transportation
Consider how you will get your wedding dress to your location. Different airlines have different policies. Some will allow you to take it on as hand luggage, others will make you put it in the hold and some may even hang it up in first class for you! They often give you extra baggage allowance at no additional cost. By rolling your wedding gown in bubble wrap it will help to prevent creasing and protect it from the elements.
Our friendly and experienced sales assistants will be able to advise you on which of our range of discounted wedding dresses may be more suited to your wedding abroad.

When you get engaged and start to plan and prepare for your big day it all too soon becomes apparent just how expensive it can be to become a married couple. On writing down the costings for each different part of your day there is one particular item that is always of a very high importance to you as a bride – your wedding dress.
Everyone’s budget is different for their wedding gown. However, here at the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet you don’t need to worry about spending more than you had bargained for. We are here to not only assist you in finding your perfect wedding dress, but to save you up to £1500 on one too!
We have a diverse collection of bridal wear. With over 700 cheap wedding dresses to choose from, it is unlikely that you will be leaving our store empty handed. Stocking well known designer dresses and named bridal wear we can offer up to a huge 75% the recommended retail price, with our wedding dresses typically costing between £150 and £400. This is an enormous saving on their original prices of £700 to £2500. Our styles of dresses range from classic and traditional to elegant and contemporary, in a huge selection of colour ways and fabrics with sizes ranging from 6 -30.
So how can we offer high quality and new wedding dresses at such amazingly low prices? Our wedding gowns mainly come to us direct from manufacturers and designers who have excess stock due to one off designs, cancelled orders, unused samples and discontinued dress styles. A small percentage of the dresses we have would have been previously used in a photoshoot or on the catwalk. None of the discounted wedding dresses we sell are seconds. We are also fortunate enough to work with new and upcoming designers who can offer their stunning bridal collection at a fraction of the normal selling price. Although our wedding gowns may be cheap you can rest assured that it is not apparent in the wedding gown itself as they are all carefully selected and are of the utmost highest quality.
We are friendly and passionate about our brides and believe our mission is to help you find your perfect wedding dress. Therefore we encourage you to view, touch and try on as many gowns as you so desire. We also stock a range of tiaras, veils and underskirts to help you complete your look.

More often than not, when it comes to the wedding attire the focus is usually on the bride and what her wedding dress will be like. The groom of course is just as important! Why should the bride get all the fun choosing her bridal wear after all?!
When you think about what your husband to be will be wearing on your big day the first thing that may spring to your mind is a ‘suit’ of some sort. However there are several things to take into consideration when discussing and planning what he will be putting on the morning of your wedding day. As the vast majority of men despise shopping it is advisable to go initially with the bride. Of course she knows him best therefore will be open and honest about what looks good on her man! She also knows the colours and style of her wedding gown and the colour scheme so can ensure nothing will clash.
For a church wedding a morning suit is a traditional, yet popular choice. This consists of a frock-coat, matching or pin striped trousers, waistcoat, high collar shirt with a cravat and if desired, a top hat. A more contemporary yet formal suit is the Edwardian which is a longer length box style jacket with matching trousers. Alternatively there are the options of a classic suit, or for a wedding that is being held later in the day or evening then a tuxedo is good choice. Suits are available in a wide range of colours, bear in mind the colour scheme of your day should be incorporated into the accessories such as your cravat, tie, handkerchief, waistcoat or cummerbund. Grey suits look good with pastel shades, and darker shades work well with stronger shades. Chocolate brown suits have made a come back recently, and can also look stunning with the right colours.
For a more informal wedding, such as destination ceremony a pair of linen trousers or chinos and a shirt looks relaxed yet dressy. Lighter colours will fit in perfectly and an hawaiian or flamboyant print shirt certainly needs to pass the bride’s approval! Watch out for our wedding suit hire department coming in January.
