1.You get to play dressing up!
In your normal, every day life you might live in denim jeans and casual t-shirts, but on your wedding day, no one will bat an eyelid if you turn up in the biggest, frilliest, sparkliest wedding dress you could find. In fact, they expect it!
2. It draws all the attention to you
Perhaps this seems obvious, but no one else will be wearing anything that comes close to your outfit. You will be instantly recognisable as The Bride, even by people who aren’t your guests, and they will all treat you as special. Which of course you are, but wearing a wedding dress, even complete strangers will acknowledge it!
3. It’s a BALLGOWN!
Okay, so maybe you haven’t actually chosen a ballgown style wedding dress, but the majority of wedding dresses are so far from our everyday clothes, that it amounts to the same thing. How many times in your life will you get the opportunity to dress like a princess? Make the most of it!
4. You can get away with so much more
Really. Say whatever you like (within reason!), dance as wildly as you want, take your shoes off in the bar and walk around barefoot, ask random guests to hold your drink while you dance…anything goes and no one will think anything of it.
5. Everyone tells you how fantastic you look…and you will believe them
It must be some kind of magic. No matter how you feel about yourself normally, wearing your wedding dress you will feel like a million bucks. Everyone will tell you how beautiful you are, and you will believe them. You really will, just wait and see!
