Thank you for your custom. We hope that you will be delighted with the wedding dress you have purchased.

Purchasing a gown that does not fit

Please note, if you are purchasing a gown that does not fit you perfectly we will always give you honest advice as to whether, in our opinion, a dress can be altered to fit. However, the customer is solely responsible for purchasing a gown that does not fit and does so at their own risk. Any gown alteration requirements are the responsibility of the customer and the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet Ltd. will not be liable for any charges relating to third party costs such as seamstress alterations.

Gowns with imperfections

As we are a factory outlet, some of our gowns may have slight marks or a minor degree of damage, most of which is repairable. We will do our best to point these out to you prior to your purchase but the customer is responsible for checking the garment thoroughly prior to purchase. Refunds or exchanges are not available on dresses that have been discounted further due to imperfections.

Cleaning of gowns

Regardless of the care label, we always recommend you seek professional dry cleaning advice if you wish to have your gown cleaned.

Statutory rights

Your standard statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds and exchanges

Refunds and exchanges are considered on a case by case basis. In all circumstances, we will only consider a refund or exchange if the customer has notified us of the wish to return the dress within 7 days of the date purchase and the dress is returned to the original store of purchase, in its as-sold condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of the date of purchase. We will examine the dress upon return and we reserve the right to not accept a gown back if we feel that the gown has been worn (other than being reasonably tried on at home), damaged, altered, affected by odour or is defective in any other way. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £5 for refunds. Refunds or exchanges cannot be given on dress bags and accessories. Proof of purchase will always be required. If we agree to exchange a dress, no further exchanges or refunds will be offered at anytime and this is the case even if the 7 day period outlined above applies. Refunds or exchanges will not be provided after the date of the wedding.

Reserving a gown

We offer our customers the opportunity to place a gown on reserve for a short period of time. There is a charge of £50 for this service which is treated as a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT but will be deducted from the price of the gown should you decide to go ahead with the purchase. This deposit cannot be transferred onto accessories.
